If youre a history buff or a brandy or bourbon enthusiast, you'll love this place. The roots of distilling run deep in Statesville, which I did not know. I did however know alot about prohibition, and the tour guide. She knew her history inside and out and answered any question I had. I have never seen such a thorough knowledge on the topic during a tour. They also have an incredible 42 foot distilling tower, the tallest in NC. Then they showed their distilling prowess during the tasting and I was shocked to see how smooth the bourbon was. These guys will become a household name in a few years, I can already tell.
