What a really neat place and it smells fantastic. The people there are super nice and welcoming. Oh and better yet, the Bourbon and Bourbon Cream are wonderful. Try before you buy while surrounded by barrels full of juice, and don't forget to take some home!

We were in town for a Wedding and the bride and groom arranged for the wedding party and the guests that arrived early to come to SDC for a tour and tasting. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating to our fairly large group (approximately 20 of us). After the tour and tasting, we were able to come out and order special drinks from the bar at the distillery. I ordered a drink that was an iced coffee type drink with their creamy liqueur added. It was delicious. We purchased a bottle of the liqueur to take home to Maryland with us. Very neat atmosphere and friendly staff. Disclaimer: There is no A.C. in the distilling area and it was very hot in that particular area. Therr were fans, but definitely dress accordingly.

To great experience to do in the area. You’re able to see the process from start to go I have the bourbon and the whiskey that they make. It was a very good quality bourbon and whiskey that I would buy again which I did while I was there since I’m from Florida. I would recommend this to anybody you can even bring kids and they are free so if you can’t get a babysitter you can still go.
