Really recommend this interesting and informative tour, which my husband and I took on 3-22-22. The lady who put it on was very knowledgeable and friendly. One thing I noticed about this place is how clean and orderly it is. I think this goes into the quality of their product.

Excellent! Went on the behind the scene whiskey tour and tasting. Joe was our guide and he was great! Very knowledgeable. Love how the company tries to have as little waste as possible (leftover corn, wheat and rye mash is used to feed farm animals, some old barrels turned into furniture). And 50% of the sale of their Southern Star double rye whiskey goes to Purple Heart homes for veterans. Awesome! Got to the distillery off exit #54 on I-77. Really enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Visiting my mom, we went to take a tour and grab some Double Shot for my father-in-law. The tour was fantastic! We loved seeing the whole process, and Kate was very informative and definitely taught us a couple of things we didn't know. I bought a Bottled-In-Bond Paragon bottle for myself after our tasting as well. Will definitely be back in the future!

We recently toured this distillery and were fortunate to have Melissa as our tour guide. Before the tour she gave an in-depth history lesson of whiskey production in the area that was very interesting. The tour was one of the better ones I’ve had, and I’ve had more than a few, and it was soon obvious that Melissa was quite knowledgeable as to bourbon production in general and Southern’s operation in particular. She was open to questions which made the discussion that much more enjoyable. Melissa’s charm and wit made the tasting a fun experience. I’m impressed with both the facilities and operation. This is definitely a couple of notches above the typical craft distillery and well worth the time to stop and tour.
