Really enjoyed checking out Southern Distilling. The part of the building you see from 77 is just the front face. There are many beautiful barn structures behind also. The showroom/store is nicely set up with a nice bar and view of the stills. We are from Salisbury and it's about an hour drive for us but I would rather visit the store in person to purchase their products vs. going to a local ABC store. My wife and I enjoyed the tour, and our guide was very knowledgeable of the overall bourbon history in the area. I don't normally have a drink as early as I did (at about 10am for our tour) but I did that morning and thought maybe I'll start switching out my weekend coffee with a bourbon instead!

Wow! Amazing place to visit! Great staff who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Excellent hospitality and bourbon whiskey!! Definitely schedule the distillery tour and enjoy a couple of drinks afterwards. Great location and highly recommend visiting!

A bigger, small distillery. Worth the 5 minutes off I-40 or 2-minutes off I-77 to stop by. Great ambiance in the store area, plus a bar and a lounge/speakeasy room. There's also an event hall I didn't tour. Bottle prices to quality ratio is phenomenal! I'll definitely visit again!!

I brought some out of town guest yesterday and we did a tour of the distillery. The facility is very clean. It was beautiful and so relaxing in the side room. Our tour guide Cannon was so great! He was very friendly, knowledgeable and personable! The drinks were fabulous. We had a wonderful time and my girlfriends and I want to come back. Thank you all!
